New study of the state of the fortresses in Haskovo region

The new study of the current condition of the fortresses on the territory of Haskovo district has been completed. A study of the existing literature on the places that played an important role in the development of the territory during the Middle Ages was conducted. 13 fortresses were selected, which were visited on site, their current condition was registered and their potential as tourist sites was assessed. The research will be used to create an augmented reality catalog, which contains 10 of the most suitable sites to visit.
